Mona lives and works in her home nestled in the mountains of somewhere beautiful. 

She shares her country oasis with her husband, son and two bulldogs.   In fact, it was her love of bulldogs and all animals that inspired Tubbytoons.

Mona attended California Institute of the Arts and was hired out of school by Walt Disney Studios to work on their animated movies.  She later worked in television and for Walt Disney Imagineering designing the rides for the Disney theme parks in the United States and abroad.  Mona  created the Looney Tunes art for the Warner Brothers' retail stores.  She also worked on various animated movies for Marvel.   She designed the Dr. Seuss Restaurant for Universal Studios in Florida and has worked on many art and design projects for major companies. 

But by far, Mona's favorite things to do these days are still designing art, walking her bulldogs and sharing sunny, breezy days with her family.
